History: the State of Jharkhand is filled with historic palaces, buildings, and sites that have their own unique distinctive. One of them is the old Padma fort located in Hazaribagh. The fort has seen many memorable events but is struggling to maintain its existence in the present. Hazaribagh This state located in Jharkhand is filled with historic palaces, buildings, and sites that have their own distinct character. One of them is the old Padma fort located in Hazaribagh. The fort, which has seen many memorable occasions and is fighting for its existence in the present. One of the most impressive examples architecturally, the structure is deteriorating with every passing day. Padma Fort, located just 22 kms from Hazaribagh city is a fort that was built in the past that was the ancestral home from King Ram Narayan Singh. Many people travel from all over the world to view this fort’s majestic beauty. Today, however, this fort is not ruled by a king, and consequently no guardians. The fort is not as bright or beautiful as it once was. The only thing that is missing are the memories associated with the fort that are constantly talked about by people.

There was times when there used for rows of vehicles imported from abroad and elephants that welcome visitors at the entrance. The legend says that the fort was home to more than 2,000 horses, elephants and infantry. There are currently a handful of villagers are taking care of the maintenance of the fort.
